In collaboration with The London Migration Film Festival, we are incredibly proud to have presented the UK premiere of Letters from Wolf Street (2025), directed by Arjun Talwar. This was particularly special as it was also SplicD’s first official screening.

Questioning the boundaries of migration and inclusion of Polish society, Indian filmmaker Arjun Talwar zooms into the street of his Warsaw home. One day, rainbow flags fly over Wolf Street, only to be replaced by Polish flags and white nationalists the next morning.

In his search for community against the backdrop of rising fascism, Talwar asks if one ever stops being a stranger in a chosen home.

The screening took place on the 30th of November 2025 at 6:15 pm at Genesis Cinema.

Following the film, Gather with Anis hosted a writing workshop, offering space to reflect, write, and connect around the themes raised in the documentary.
